I'Ll Be Gone

Every day I love you more
every day you become more silent than before
feels like I’ve hit a brick wall
I promised myself I would stand tall
love can be amazing
when it is actually blazing 
with no hidden plays
only receptive hearts on display 
I can’t wait forever with my heart on my sleeve
one of these days I will have to leave..

There was probably a time when he showed more affection and that makes it even more difficult to let go when you feel him drifting away. Inside, there is a feeling that the love will magically reappear. Speaking from experience, it doesn't seem to work that way though. It is a difficult choice to leave, but if he doesn't return your feelings, what other options do you have aside from setting yourself up for more of the pain you describe here, Wilma.
