Iho Anti Vaxxers

Many go maskless where they please,
refusing to get the shot,
while spewing droplets of disease,
not caring who they infect,
or who ends up dying or not.
This July, more trouble from these
who sneeze out Delta they’ve caught!

Hello Jennifer ... and they are grouping up to protest so only God knows how many get infected then seriously ill. It is not the common cold as I found out even after being vaccinated - thank you Jennifer - Lindsay

Jennifer, I am with you about maskless "prospective manslaughter criminals." We both saw how The Arch (now late Nobel laureate Tutu) handled his alternative viewpoint. With dignity to his opponents. Even if one disagrees this is nit a true Vaccine to prevent Covid, one must use a mask in public. Basic sense. Shalom shalom & thanx

Darn straight. Good for you. Direct and true and right to the point! Sad and confusing to see so many narcissistic people in every state. Smallpox, measles, and rubella are gone because we were all vaccinated in the 70s for them. Such a good poem. So glad I found.

I’ve have to do that too. For a while it seemed like things were getting back to normal and I felt I could eat in restaurants again but these anti-vaxxers have put us right back where we started. As I write this, my mom and I are in the parking lot waiting to pick up dinner instead of going inside because we’re afraid of catching a breakthrough case.

Some people once felt they had a "right" to drive drunk. If this happened to result in killing people, it was just too bad. We enforce rules of public safety when others will be harmed by our reckless behavior. Nice One, Jenn! Keep writing. - Thomas

Not a mandate from the goverment, but rather a begging. We wear a seatbelt to keep us safe in a car crash, a life perserver in a boat to keep us from drowning, sunscreen and a hat to prevent our skin from developing cancer, dental cleanings to prevent tooth decay.. on and on. Your poem resonates I was moved by it as u can see.

Very timely; it is such a small thing to wear a mask and now most people can get the vaccine, I wish people had more compassion and common sense~
