I was watching the video of the Tufts University student arrested by plain-clothed ICE agents wearing masks. She is not a citizen, but must have offended Mr. Rubio who has the power (to be challenged in court) to revoke green cards or visas. My wife also saw it and commented..."Are we in Russia?" It's all rather chilling and needs to be resisted as best we can. We're in some hot water. Hope you are well!!!

And yes, many journalists have been arrested, tortured, or killed in a variety of unpleasant places with autocratic governments. Let's hope that doesn't happen here. Smiles!!

Anne-Lise, We do need more prisons for our leaders!! They are the ones who need confinement. It does look pretty bad, but we have hope more and more people will realize what these people are really like and the harm they will do as long as given the chance.

Arthur...I looked it up as suggested: "the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group." Sounds like it fits pretty well. There is a lot of pro Israel money from large donors in play here and unfortunately this means it's hard for politicians to stand up for Palestinian rights. People don't seem to know that Netanyahu had been bank rolling Hamas in order to keep the Palestinians divided. Our current administration will definitely be even worse since it values money and power more than all else.

I’m more militia than military on the front lines leading the resistance for the last four years fighting the good fight. School mums and pro-lifers were being targeted and threatened by Biden’s DOJ. They weren’t facing deportation cos they aren’t illegal criminals committing any crimes. You speak of the rule of law but illegal gangsters have no fondness for the law unless they can use it to game the system.

Keith, thanks for reading and making a joke about my head. You can be funny! Were the pro-lifers and school mums facing deportation without a day in court? I remember seeing a peaceful anti abortion demonstration when I was in Oklahoma, and I spoke to the demonstrators to understand why they were there....there was a clinic right across the street. I didn't detect they were worried about being rounded up. They also had the sense not to interfere with the lawful operation of the clinic. My understanding is that you have honor as you are former military. My hope is that you still stand for the rule of law. I'm a bit worried that something has tainted your view of our society and wish you would share what that is. It would help me understand where you are coming from. I sincerely would like to know and hope you're not having an issue with women and minorities in positions of authority. I'm sure you've done a lot of great things in your life and hope no one has denigrated that service.
