Notes About The Poem

I came up with an appropriate sign for the weekly demonstration, which gets bigger every week. Some young men stopped in a car and told me, "Get a job!" I thought that was funny since protecting democracy takes a lot of hard work. Nevertheless, the people demonstrating are a lot of fun to be with each week. Dick Tator seems like too kind a solution for the question and answer below.

Igor GETS a bigger lab

For what do inits D.T. stand?
It's not what would please Ayn Rand
Her famous novel
Shows those who grovel
Are rather unfit for command

Ayn Rand least favorite writer. She believed in an unbridled wild-west capitalism, no social welfare and let everyone pick themselves up by their bootstraps. A little irony SHE depended on her Social Security Checks in her Old age! (A little heads up for those who don't know her) Make America safe for Hypocrisy. Well done, Duke! Glad your on the good side :D

Anaya, I am glad you see the irony in the selection of Ms. Rand. I don't like her either, and she is respected by many right wingers. However, I do think she would see Trump for what he is. A narcissist bully who would rather destroy everything and make himself rich while doing it (at our expense). He has no problem being in bed with communists, oligarchs, and dictators who frown on anyone she might praise in her books about individualism. Smiles!!!

That's appropriate since he wants to put the world on a leash.

Hi Lin, he seems to be succeeding since the dog-gone person we have is weak in the brains department.

Anne-Lise. Too bad we will all suffer from the things D.T. (Dick Tator) has up his sleeve. He is one sick dude. Smiles!!

I rather liked Ayn Rand. She was insightful with her epistimoloy (sp) wishing you a pleasant evening, Sara

Hi Sara, she certainly was a champion of heroic individualism. Personally, I find that we do better working together for a mutually agreed to common good, but that is not an easy thing to do since consensus takes a lot of work to build. I've seen some people work miracles in diplomacy, and I rather like working together with others. I also just wish we could all get along peacefully. Anyhow, I thought it would be ironic to point out that Ayn Rand would be horrified by what is happening with Putin and Trump. It's so ironic that D.T.'s BFF is a commie bastard.
