If You Think You Are, You Are
If you think you’re beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don’t,
If you think you can’t win,
You won’t
If you think you’ll lose, you already have,
Because out in the big-bad world you’ll find,
Success starts with your will,
And is consummated in your mind.
If you think you are an outcast, you are,
If you think lofty thoughts, you’ll rise
If you are sure of yourself,
You will eventually take the prize.
Life’s victories won’t always go,
To the strongest woman or man,
But eventually the one who triumphs,
Is the one who thinks they can.
