I ran into the room, said, "Do I smell bacon?", but couldn't decipher the smirk Jim was making. "Sure, if that's what you wanna call it! Hey, why not stuff your gullet?", and like a true American I was taken.

Wow! I love your limerick and the smell of bacon. My father used to buy a big rectangular chunk, smoked, and hang it from a hook on the wall. The smell used to fill the whole house! Needless to say, that chunk never lasted long! // paul

Well bacon isn't EVERYTHING... just the only thing that matters (ha ha ha... kidding!). Seriously though I like all kinds of food. They could have been grilling asparagus and I would have been just as elated as the bacon :)
