If You Could See

If you could read my mind would you like what you see?
When you look at me?
When my thoughts turn violent or ugly,
Would you still love me?
If you could see?

When I'm judgemental cruel and mean,
If you could see inside my dreams,
In your eyes, would I still beam?
If you knew I'm more than what I seem.

If you could see and read my mind,
What do you think you will find?
Would it change the way you feel about me?
Would you still love me?
If you could see?

When I feel empty,
Or lack empathy.
If I got mad and angry,
Would you still love me?
If you could see?
