If They Only Knew
In a distant parallel world,
Things will be different.
There is no racism, no inequality,
The people in this world are shown,
Daily that there is individuality,
Gender and religious freedom.
There's just one problem that,
Remains the same the elderly are,
Abused as they are in this parallel world.
Things never change.
Families ignore them, government's forget,
Who they are, they lay on soiled sheets,
Barely get fed, given no water.
Families continue their lives,
Leaving them alone,
Just hoping they will die soon.
In this world all is not what it seems.
Unknowing to all except the elderly,
That they will be called to duty by,
The Gods above activating their,
Powers and their appearance
So all the world's will know,
What they are capable of.
