If The Shoe Fits

Thank you kindly. In America, this is all I seem to be surrounded by. So often, I have insecure folks (often other women and sometimes even insecure men) twisting my words, or bashing me whenever I show enthusiasm, or point out something that everyone missed in an attempt to help people understand. By the grace of God I've learned to let them seethe and not take their hatred of my existence too personally, even if their bigotry is unpleasant for me to have to endure.
