Hello Darlene. Whilst technology proves itself a valuable tool, it regrettably harbors certain unfavorable facets. Undoubtedly, the computer facilitates seamless dissemination of our literary endeavors, yet, as is often the case with expediency, there exist consequential drawbacks to its inception.

We'd just do like those poets before us ... write them and publish them for people to read. The computer allow for easier communication of our works, but when it is easier, there are also cost ... downsides to the invention. Than for sharing your thoughts through your poetry, Darlene. Hugs, Bill

Not true I-PADS are computers. But you are right that was the way we did it , hours on the phone. But also poetry was writen in journals. Published in books. Mentioned in newspapers. You could even say we got more attention that way.

Darlene…I am with you entirely.great poem. The saddest part is until you talk to,or actually meet that person in real life, they are just not human! Worse, they feel free to hurt you in anyway they can,or just stop and nothing we can do I have written plenty on this one. We are only black print on a white page. We can lie here, too.who cares? This is really good poem to talk about. We can not understand a life without technology. But We have been without. I have to say that life was much better before, because we use to be more engaged to ourselves. We used to do more activities outside, read more books, watch more performances and now we depend on screens. Not good at all. It s only good if we use them catefully, but not to be screenadicts. Yes--indeed! We would happily engage in all those activities you mention, Darlene. We learn as we go to manage our lives and find ways to enjoy technology.
