If Only

Oh! What a beautiful place it is,
Flowers with the mist so cool,
Sparrows chirping on that tree,
And the whole world,
Laughing, the birds finally free.
Oh what a great sight it must be,
The ringing of the bells,
The mass from the church is all I hear,
With a large crowd gathered in this place to be,
If only I could see.

If only I could see,
The world now changed completely,
The doubts of people all cleared,
Men and women all equal,
I wish if I could do,
More than just hear.

More than just hear,
I wish I could also feel,
The feeling new time has bought,
All these lives,
It has sought.
Oh! What a beautiful sight it must be,
With people hugging there pain out,
And world finally a happy place,
No wars, no harsh feels,
I know I could have seen it all,
If only it was real.
