If One Evening By Chance

If one evening by chance, You and I were alone
would you reach for me knowing
for You I eternally long.

Would you walk away and pretend these 
feelings between us are just a glance
and miss out on what could be for us
a once in a lifetime chance.

Could not the brilliant moonlight tempt fate
and bring us close to one another 
not a moment to late.

If one evening I came across you by chance
would you with me dance.
With clouds beneath our feet
a star filled sky with you, would be a treat.

If one evening by chance.
