If I Were the Rain

`
a steady
downpour 
falls in
cold droplets
encouraged
by a gusty 
breeze
and I feel
bad 
for you

as  
the rain
drips through
a half 
opened 
window
dampening
your already
shivering skin

but I also
wish 
I were that rain
for if I 
were,
it would be
me
touching you
right now
