If I Were Immortal

If immortal I would be in this world my soul would be vexed forever struggling against transgressions... Immortal I will be midst love grace, peace and joy by faith in Christ... Immortal* as promised in heaven... praise-filled thanking... God.
*2Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. Your first stanza is so arresting ! Immortality here will multiply the chances of transgressions ! In Heaven after our earthly life, let us stay immortal thanking and praising God ! Brief, beautiful and powerful, Beata !
