If I Knew I Had To Die......
I’d look up all my long lost friends,
And tell them all good-bye;
I’d ride my horse to my hearts content,
Eat the chocolate I’ve been denied;
I’d write my final epitaph,
To put upon my grave;
I’d go and walk along the beach,
Maybe catch a wave;
I’d say farewell to the one I love,
And tell him to move on;
I don’t want for him to suffer,
After I’m long gone;
I’d regret that I had been so shy,
If I knew I had to die.
