If I Had Not Went To War
If I had not went to war,
I would been a farmer man.
Feeding cows, pigs and horses;
And working on my land.
If I had not went to war,
I would raise a family too.
Resting on my couch,
With nothing else to do.
If I had not went to war,
My enemy could been my friend,
No guns, no knives, no weapons;
But comrades to the end.
If I had not went to war,
And all others just the same,
Life may been so peaceful,
And death may never came.
