If I Give All I Give
If I get up and go against the grain
taking the energy found in pain
consume to use on retraining my brain
going all out
crushing doubt
with ignorance
to grasp the chances
reclaim my existence
for all that it is
surging with resistance
recycling insistence
a rejection of depression,
where being active’s compressed
and suffering impressed
with stress inheritance ingest
squash it dead with pressure
until leisure out measures
and I've widen feathers
an endeavour
to no matter whatever never
be imprisoned to rot
to have risen with all given
as to give myself a life worth living
if I give all I give and leave nothing spare
sparring the enemy til the enemy not there
I will be forever a winner
with a legacy that'll never see
the enemy in me roam free
depression in a state of deceased
leaving me living with freedom and peace
