If I Do Not Rise In the Next Morning

Lying awake on bed and thinking Mouth shut, eyes closed Within minutes I am going to fall into sleep All these are all right but if I do not rise up in the morning And thousands of years later find me the aliens Or the people of other civilisation, dead Nothing is weird in this Nor is this very surprising No grief, no pain either But I would have gone with a huge regret As I could not tell anyone of them how I died They would have been enormously confused And would thrash their heads against a wall Just to know the way how I Or actually what caused me to die Is it the fire or is it the ice? Or was it the terrifying tremble or the fearful sink hole? Was it a sudden crumble or an unnatural sound? It could be anything or nothing at all After all, death is a death But, if I do not rise up in the next morning Then you know for sure That I had gone with a huge regret As I could not tell anyone alive in this world how I was died.
