If I Am

If I am night, 
You are day
If I am rain,
You are earth
If I am winter,
You are spring
And if I am star,
You are my sky
Wherever I perish,
You unfold there.

When you are a flower,
I am a bee
When you are a wood,
I am a wood-pecker
When you are a shore,
I am a wave
And when you are sad
I am happiness
The moment you exist
I seek you

You are words
I am ellipsis
I am silence
You are voice
And you are lines
And I am poem
No you no me
I am everything you are and read it back
