If

 
If I were a famous poet quite well known,
I hope that I would be a poet humble;
that I would be an inspiration for all.

That the pages of my poetry reached all,
my writing awards I accepted humble;
and that my fans would say her kindness is known.

Even after death my name and words are known,
and in schools my poetry would still humble;
people would purchase my books not one but all.

 "And all visit a humble poet's stone . . . known."

Sara Login to Reply Constance La France Date: 2/18/2021 1:58:00 PM Sara, thanks for the visit and the compliment, well Sestina is suppose to have meter but because I cannot do meter, although I do not understand exactly why, this is not done in meter which of course makes it easier but I have the required repeating words, but I suppose there are many ways to do Sestina as many forms have variations _Constance

Constance La France Date: 2/18/2021 1:37:00 PM There is Sestina, and then there is Sestina Trinita which has three stanzas (instead of 6 or 12)with repeating end words and with only three lines (instead of 6 lines) and a Trinita's envoy is a one-liner (instead of 3 lines).
