I can almost hear them sinking into the ground with their plip plops.

Me, too. I went back to the dentist today. I was in bad pain. He said it is healing, but slowly and I just have to live with it. He said, "Take those pain pills, that's what they're for." When we get older it must take longer to heal. He took the stitches out, too. So, I came home and took a pill and slept for a couple of hours. Feel some better, but I'm going to take the pills until it's well and doesn't hurt so bad anymore. Plip Plop! Phone drop!

I am just thinking of winter as I read the word icicles. So longing for a good frosty day...Delice

I can do without that, Delice. I do love the warm weather.

Great Haiku, Milton. You captured a remarkable image of spring in this haiku.
