Acrostic in last stanza

ICE WATER IN A VASE Ice cold shasta, right from the start - My first day at work, “I know how much you make” and the molten stare of sun from her yellow eye. She loves me…She loves me not I can’t penetrate her southern heart. Well, bless it! She spied a yankee right from the start. She’s packing vitamin c in her indelible leaves, resistant to my northern charm. She loves me…she loves me not Digging a garden, expanding her farm town. Always in control, always right. I am just a pawn, but good for a shoulder cry. She has taught me much, nonetheless. Yes! She loves me…loves me not 8/29/2016
