Love, the noon time sun-
You'd melt the wax off my 
Arms, soaring
Before I could fly within reach 
Of your great heights

Try it with the last two lines first - I think you are comparing your love for this person with Icarus' love for the sun, it's a fine metaphor. The verse is about you, yes? Your love? Perhaps, a different title don't TELL the reader it's Icarus most readers know the mythos and you are already SHOWING us Icarus. Light & love
