I Yearn To Know Him - 2

I yearn to know Him Better than I can explain Assuring my heart and soul Of love that is filled with hope Love that is always in control Of my words, my thoughts Every part of my heart I yearn to show Him Just how much I love Him How deeply I need to express The wonder of His grace The music pouring from His Warm and welcome arms The feelings that I know Glow brighter than the sun Raining faith into my soul Filling me with insight, light That brightens my entire life I yearn to grow in Him With beautiful dreams so alive They fulfill all my heart’s thirsts For a drink of something soothing Comfort that keeps me assured That His love is always inside me Thriving, inspiring, guiding me Toward a better way, a new day The opportunity to always say He is light – He is love He is the grace that portrays All the beauty and wonder Of a love that is always kind A love that is full and alive A love that will forever survive I yearn to bestow on Him The brilliance of joy He stirs The creativity He inspires The motivation He awakens The vision of hope and faith The revelation of His grace Flowing through my veins As His redeeming blood floods Over my soul, cleansing me Of the sin that lives within Where I need Him to show me The way toward love that glows On my heart, soul and life Love that is forever vibrant I yearn to shadow Him through life Building my faith around His sparkle My hope around His vivacity, His wonder My love around His promises to me Promises to never leave me nor forsake me To always be available, a friend until the end Never letting me down – always abounding With unconditional love – love that I can believe in Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. - Hebrews 13:5 KJV
