My dear, if you are talking about poems on other poem websites I am the poemdog. If you could see where I signed up here that is the name I signed up as. I have all of the work to prove it. Be careful of your accusations. This is not the only web site on the net to submit poems, I have entered contests on other sites. I'm not accustomed to people questioning my integrity. I have an entire book of original poems here.

I am disabled and living on a fixed income and I write poems to supplement my income and you are inching out onto very thin ice if you don't like my poems please don't read them.

I apologise if you found my comment offensive -I wasn't questioning your integrity in any way Daniel - my poem is just a general warning to people who post on poetry sites if you look at a recent blog on soup you will see the issue of plagerisim has been raised - I and many others have found our works elsewhere and even poems on poetry soup have been plagerised on this very site:-( hugs Jan xx

If I catch someone stealing, I will hit the door. I'm not as gifted as some people and it takes me days sometimes just to come up with one line. I keep all of my rough drafts and rewrites just in case. I read a lot of these poems and I haven't seen any of that yet, after all there are a finite number of words and transfinite ways to put them together. Nice conversation piece, Jan.

A humorous warning, we all know plagiarizing happens, there are people who want to be king of the castle even though they didn't do any of the work. This was good and you can keep the credit for it. :)

I have no idea why people steal our words Tim - we have both found our work elsewhere - I even had one guy describe how he 'wrote' my poem - maybe one day the cheaters will get court! Hugs Jan xx
