I’m known as the limerick queen Though some deem my work is 'obscene' When I write about todgers I upset coffin dodgers - They’ll NEVER upset my routine ! MANY THANKS TO MILTON FOR HIS RECENT TRIBUTE TO ME - IT WAS AWARDED POTD AND I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR SUPPORT AND SO MANY LOVELY COMMENTS. AFTER 7 YEARS OF POSTING MY 'POOP POETRY' ON THE SITE I WILL NEVER STOP TRYING TO MAKE FOLK SMILE AND WILL NOT GIVE IN TO A BLOG HOG WHO HAS TARGETED ME TWICE THIS YEAR 07/11/21

Seven years of Poop Poetry, what consistency! I think Limericks form is quite versatile and equally effective in conveying a serious thought couched with some humour. Thanks, I enjoyed thoroughly.

Thanks Harry:-) Thanks for your support, its amazing how he's targeted me when there are writers who push the boundaries but he doesn't castigate them in blogs, shame he is not a man of principles and stick to what he said last year that he wouldn't ever blog again. Hugs jan xx

Thanks, Jan, for clarifying for the naysayers exactly what limericks are. Even in the definition it clear states they are "often humorous and ribald." Thanks, too for your thanks to me (which were totally unnecessary). But, I am glad that we could draw attention to this old, old and well-respected type of poetry.

You've seen him in action since you joined soup he acts like butter wouldn't melt and that HE is the victim, pretty pathetic when he doesnt have to read my poetry - 'bawdy' in the title must be a clue but perhaps he is clueless. I will never be bullied again and thankfully people are seeing what he's up to and ignoring his blogs

Belle it is so pathetic, if he doesn't like my poetry fine he doesn't have to read me, we have each other blocked , but to write 3 blogs aimed at me and my poop is bullying (despite him saying last year he wouldn;t blog again I've had 2 blogs having a pop at me already this year) hugs jan xx

I know you never wrote limerick before you joined soup, nor did I lol but I adore the form and will never give in and stop writing just because someone doesn't like my poetry. shame he doesnt stop blogging as he promised last year but still continues to stir the pot when he can, got to pity him really but he will never stop me having fun!:-) hugs Jan xx
