~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Quiet colors contemplate the night,
Hesitating for the wind to sing
Praying, praising, preparing for the joy
Beyond the clouds, balanced
Like a heart inspired, stirred by the yearning
For autumn’s serenity,
Fading softly, against the setting of needs
Realized by those who believe…
Rushing stars swallow up the sky, glistening
Stardust diving from the twilight,
Sensing the melancholy burden of a heart
Who sighs, grace lifting every dark thought,
Coloring the feelings with notes of hope,
Listening to the scriptures,
As they unfold, before my eyes…
I won’t give up – He knows my plight
Wherever love shows me a sign,
He is alive – He is mine
I’ll move through this life, inviting, delighting
The gospel my light – shining bright
So someone might realize, the One accompanying me
He is the reason, the answer they seek,
He will release the chains – free you from the prison
He lives in your heart, your destiny.
He saves souls so there is glory waiting
Beyond this earth – He is my Savior
And, I’ll speak His name, His worth, His grace
Saves so there is no darkness left to hurt.
Listen, friend – with Him, there is love that mends all hurt.
With Jesus, there is joy beyond words.
With Him, there is a reason for walking through this world.
With Jesus, there is love more beautiful than a soul can dream up.
With Him, there is love that comes from above.
With Him, there is assurance – And, I won’t give up!
I won’t give up!!!!
