I Willingly Give My Love and My Life For Them

my constant friend
i still
do not know
exactly what we
are doing here

but i feel death is
starting at my feet
and working up

so......

i must ask you to
tell my lover and
my mother that
i willingly give
my life so that
they may be free

tell them to look
at each spring
as a blessing and
talk about how i
loved the spring.

and to you my
dear friend, if you
make it out of here
i am going to
ask you to give a
extra kiss to those
you
love
then think of me

well the time is
here and i shut
my eyes....no i
do not hurt. i see
my daddy and my
grandad at the gate
and i must run to
meet them.

i have made it here
and i am truly free.
