I Will Pay You a Million Bucks
I call this one whimsy's pride he told me.
I have to have one I said.
I only have one, he replied.
I will write you a check for a million bucks.
Neither of us could quit laughing.
I will make one like it for you.
I smiled, glad he did not accept the check.
