I Will Be Your Man

Hold me just a little tighter run your fingers through my thinning hair whisper all your deepest secrets let's make loneliness disappear don't drift away before the stroke of midnight I don't want our day to end cherish our once upon a time for with you everyday is perfect my dearest my friend forgive me if I'm distant and mind seems many miles away it's trying to map out a future and how you can forever stay delve inside me dear deep past the kisses and words wrap yourself around my being listen closely let that inner-child be heard create candy-floss moments with me jump in muddy puddles and run coatless in the rain not caring about tomorrows throwing out the window that we have to act prim, proper, or plain take my hand walk with me along the seashore past the drifting and blowing sands into the never ending sunset you be my woman I will be your man
