I walked through wind, rain and thunder, letting my long rain-drenched hair fall; wet- I went to him in wonder, into his arms I wished to crawl. My head he clasped tight to his heart, of this love I will never part; I stayed with him all the night long, though many say this love is wrong. _____________________ May 8, 2020 Poetry/Verse/I Went To Him Copyright Protected, ID 20-1249-631-03 All Rights Reserved, 2020, Constance La France Originally posted April 7, 2019 as Rain-Drenched Hair Submitted to Brian's Choice 6 Contest sponsor, Brian Strand Honorable Mention
