I believe that it is true that God leads His people to be friends with each other so that they can pray for one another. I have a few life-long friends who, though I've not seen them for long stretches of time, remain loyal, praying friends. I believe that those prayers have advocated on my behalf many times and brought me back into faith in Jesus and the family of the living God. My hope is that each of you enter into a relationship with Christ and receive the blessings our good God bestows on his children.

I watched your face as you read the words I had written. Your face, delighted at the start, broke forth into a wide, revealing smile That did not end at your lips. You looked at me with recognition. You were there. We were friends. However, our lives moved on, separately. You wanted to know how things were for me without you, Back you went, intent upon my words, Your face trailed through each stage of my life. You traced my faults and flaws. Felt my Confusion, fear, guilt, anger, hopelessness, and desperation. I sensed you had reached the final entry- A tear rolled down your cheek You stopped reading Looked me square in the face You learned I gave up the daily strife and Gave to God my wretched life. I watched your face as you read the words I had written. Your face, delighted at the start, broke forth into a wide, revealing smile That did not end at your lips. You looked at me with recognition. I’ll be forever grateful for my praying friend.
