I Want This Kiss

I want my lips to speak for me This kiss, a taste of what's to be A prelude of a lover's play To tell you more than words can say I want to melt your soul with this To make you weak, in throes of bliss I want your world to fall away To feel you tremble in the sway I want to make you crave for more Of sweetness that you will adore I want to make your will to bow How ardently I want this now! I see the longing in your eyes A need you think you can disguise, and so you dare not take a chance Perhaps it's all just happenstance I want this kiss, so I will be The one to solve this mystery Is what we feel, a love that's true? I take a step closer to you You look uncertain, timid, shy With all I've shown, I wonder why you do not know just how I feel I need to make it very clear My eyes search yours, I touch your face I'm pulled into a strong embrace Your lips come down in search of mine The kiss? It is beyond sublime! It's all I dreamt that it would be You mean to claim your victory No longer shy, you're in command My hair clasped tightly in your hand You won't let go, but hold me fast Determined to erase the past My beating heart cannot keep still Of longed for kiss, we get our fill.
