I WANNA LAUGH

I'm changing my world
No more tears of sorrow
Dreams for tomorrow
Drive for meaning
With white light gleaming
...I wanna laugh

I'm changing my mind
No more looping thoughts
Buying food that rots
Chasing connection
For dry perfection
...I wanna laugh

I'm changing my heart
No more open wounds
For energy to tune
Seeking space
Where there is no grace
...I wanna laugh

I'm changing my movement
No more placing self
On a dusty old shelf
Bleeding love to others
While needing the comfort of my mother
...I wanna laugh

It's hard to laugh when nothing is funny...
