I Wake When I Sleep

I Wake When I Sleep When I go to bed at night, I don’t sleep, I awake to light, I see my imagination taking a leap, It goes to a meticulous height, When I go to bed at night, I don’t sleep, I awake to light, I awake to light…. When I am tucked in my bed, I see the mars scorching red, I feel like I am drifting in space, Enthusiasm fills my face, As I see the amazing grace, Of the numerous galaxies and, All the fascinating stars so grand! When I go to bed at night, I don’t sleep, I awake to light, I awake to light……. When I sleep tight, During the dark and scary night, I imagine a fight, Between light, the do-er of right, And dark the one who starts the fight, I see it grow fierce, I see it go on, But light now gets serious, He grows furious, Takes his dagger, And there comes the tale ender! The winner is the do-er of good, And the loser darkness now is less rude, But now I need to get some food, For the alarm clock slapped me on the face, Now begins a new day’s race!
