I Use to Have Fun

I use to have fun on the monkey bars, 
or laying flat on the window ledge in the back of cars.
I use to have fun climbing high in the tree,
well until granny yelled at me.
I use to have fun on the merry-go-round,
and swinging as high as the birds without feet on the ground.
I use to have fun as a child at play,
but, now I have to work each day.

Your poem reminded me of how high I soared on swings & how fast I went on 60's skates down sidewalks and streets. Your sweet poem brought much of my child back to me.
