I Took a Step
I took a step and never looked back
It wasn’t easy but the courage gave me a step to move forward
I left all the negativity and gave myself positivity by taking a step
I took a step to be a beautiful human being I can be
I took a step, I took a step
When the light went off and the room went dark
I prayed for a moment to be free to take a step of reviving my life
So I took a step, I took a step
I took a second to look back at what I have left behind and said
One step equals to ten times steps of light
I took a step and gave the future hope to be bright
I took a step to realize all the painful steps that pushed me are actually freeing me
My heart was full of footprints that gave me the power to a step of freedom
So I took a step
I took a step that gave me my voice and narration of life
I took a step that lead to happiness, love and harmony
I found myself, I appreciated myself through a step that was full of fear to be fearless and fierce
I took a step, I took a step
Like a river that flows free, I am like a bird that fly to the east to north
For I took a step
I took a step
