I Thought We Were Done

I thought we were done! I remember everything about you, I remember your smile, a first kiss under the moon I remember somethings I don't want to, that look on your face, I knew we were doomed What are the chances I'd find you here? One in a million, but still, we're here What a predicament we are in! Do you still feel it? Should we give in? Should we celebrate? Give into fate? Bridge You do look amazing, well so do you! Oh no what are we doing? I thought we were done! Chorus My heart is beating way too fast Even though I know...it won't last I don't mind doing it all over again Starting all over again-with you Do you mind? At least think it over! While there's still time-can we start over? Bridge You do look amazing, well so do you! Oh no what are we doing? I thought we were done! I guess you've moved on from what's her name, Could it be you were thinking... thinking of me? It doesn't matter now, it's all the same Can we start again? Does that sound so crazy? Bridge You do look amazing, well so do you! Oh no what are we doing? I thought we were done! Chorus My heart is beating way too fast Even though I know...it won't last I don't mind doing it all over again, Starting all over again-with you Do you mind? At least think it over! While there's still time-can we start over? Bridge You do look amazing, well so do you! Oh no what are we doing? I thought we were done! I remember ... everything ... about ... you... fade John Derek Hamilton October 7,2019

I kept clicking on things and finally i found one I have not seen and it's super cool. I don't think it's crazy at all if two people want it badly enough. the bridge to this one is super cute.

Thanks Andrea, I thought it would be interesting to make it like a real conversation that would happen in real life, as a song I see this as a duet of sorts maybe a Broadway play not for radio (I don't think) Oh btw I was trying to think of a way to use your cinder girl in a song but it's a no go, if you think of another one I'll give it a try.

Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton should have sung this duet. Well done John.

Thanks Rick, yeah you got that right, some just can't resist the physical attraction even though they know a long term relationship just won't work. Good analysis of the write, thanks for stopping by!
