I Still Believe
I still believe in the deepest blue sky
a summer's day full of blossoms in blooms
I still believe in a mockingbird's trills.
lovely sunsets~beauty that takes my breath.
Whispering wind, stars shining bright; mountains,
purple~their peaks crested with lavender
Oceans, beaches, sunshine, seashells, mermaids...
Fields of grass turned lovely citron and sage
Lifetime, caring friends, grown children to love;
A newborn's face seeing his mom at last.
A beautiful poem to keep and read again
a book so interesting I can't put down;
Music that soothes a weary heart and soul
wonders of life that make me laugh and cry
And grace in all wonders that make life good
give hope for all the days in tomorrows
I still believe we know how to love all
I hope, one day, we will decide to try.
