You take steps without knowing where you will end up You say words without knowing whose ears they will reach I write without having an inkling who will read them Yet you still take those steps Yet you still utter those words Me? I will continue to write; not for recognition Not to be applauded Even if my words resonates with only one person at a time That is a sign, that I shall not live in vain ©wilmaneels ©30122021

So true and yet this is a very supportive community. I suppose much past poetry was left in a notebook. This is one thing that the internet has helped with. Glad to read your poem! :)
