such a delightful and humorous Sonnet, Rose! I identified with the narrator who has a feeling of being unseen and unheard...is that perhaps the way some poets feel? Hope it's not you...probably isn't. I rarely feel that way, but realize some do. Great storytelling here, Rose. Well done, applause! hugs. Sara

Glad you enjoyed it, yes sometimes we all feel that way, but most of the time, I realize I am the only one that can value me, and I don't succumb to that feeling very often thanks for reading Sara,

Occasionally I got drunk, but it left an unpleasant aftertaste. Now I stick to fine red Italian or French wine and only one glass at lunchtime. A lovely smooth poem that made me smile. Hugs.

Hey Vienna my friend.. Your poem beautifully captures the essence of being undervalued and underestimated, likening itself to the often overlooked ginger root. The speaker expresses a sense of being unseen and unheard, much like the root that remains grated but powerful, astute, and brought from distant lands... i hope you do not feel like this..

Ah this is so creative and the way your words flow is beyond seamless dear sweet rose; i love the way youv delivered this in the most engaging manner, especially how you wrote “ i see you i feel you “ thats touching. And truly reached my soul too! As its not always one feels seen. “ i heal you “ love that too. I think in real life too you are healing. Your storytelling skills are something i admire as i am not very good with that: i hope i could oneday write tho. Pleasure reading your work.
