I see you…
Scarred and renewed
Passion in a picture
Emotion in a painting
Tears in words on paper
Pain in the strums of a guitar
Dreams waiting to be fulfilled
Strength to overcome
Tenderness beneath the ice
Wanting what you never had
Glimmer of hope to be healed
Faith in the unseen
Fear in the unknown
Trust in something new
Mask for others to see
A smile that should never be hid
Eyes that are both beautiful and sad
Laughter that is music to my ears
Ability to always make someone smile
Go out of your way to make someone happy
Humorous in your own way
Intelligence that continues to impress me
A love for getting lost in a book
Kindness that is rare to find and so lucky to receive
Open minded to life
Seeking adventure at any opportunity
Willingness to do anything for fun
Understanding like no other
Patient in all the right ways
A wall of protection built by years of suffering
Hope of one day not feeling anymore pain
Yearning to be whole, complete
Desire to feel true happiness
Confident on the outside
Battling with insecurities on the inside
I see you…
Broken
Healing
Beautiful
