I Saw a Robin Today

I saw a robin today and hope swelled in my chest I wondered all winter where they had been hiding, These harbingers of spring with tangerine breast. I saw a robin today and hope swelled in my chest Immediately I forgot my troubles, realized I’m blessed The ground is wet, rich with earthworms providing, I saw a robin today and hope swelled in my chest I wondered all winter where they had been hiding.

Yes, they are, and they signal the end of my SADD, which plagues me throughout the winter. Unfortunately, today is a gray, rainy day here. I love blue skies, birds singing, flowers blooming. Guess I can't have my way every day, but I can dream.

Oh, this is sweet, Milton. We don't have robins where I live, but I do love them, and know they bring the hope of spring. You honored them well here. Molly

Oh my. I understand we have some kind of disease affecting birds over here. Perhaps there, too. We've been told if you find a dead bird to have it evaluated. I can't think of the name of the disease right off-hand.

It's like a song of hope. We are in great need of this.

Yes we are, Marco. As spring nears, I am looking forward to coming out of my Seasonal Affective Disorder. I am hopeful now.
