I’ll drink no more I’ll smoke no more I’ll swear no more my friends I shall do these things no more The day this old year ends I’ll hate no more Be late no more Or gamble any more Once a brand new year has put its foot inside my door All these things I’ve done before But I’m prepared to guess Though I won’t do them any more I shall not do them less

Thanks, Lin. I wrote the bones of this a year ago for a similar contest but wasn’t too sure about it. Suddenly I’m struggling for ideas so, I dug it up, brushed it down, gave it a tweak here and there and set it free. Glad you enjoyed. Hope you had a stupendous Christmas. Terry
