I remember that day, That blue sky day You took me to the sea And shared with me Your passion for the ocean That rolling, surging ocean As broad as your smile As sparkling as your eyes As deep as the emotions That now swell in my heart The happiness tinged with sadness At your departing. But just as the ocean will always be with me Just as that day will always be with me You too will always be with me Reminding me that oceans do not separate us They are the unpredictable ever-changing roads On which we travel to find each other.
