I Remember...12/1987

I remember how you dressed on our first date Cowboy boots and a suede patched sleeved jacket Tall and slim, I found my mate You tried many tricks to steal my heart, my pet. Though you did not know, you already had, Love was easy this time around That is how I knew, you were my lad I made you work, for the first kiss-found The magic was worth the wait Sweet and tender that first spark Love came a calling, on our first date It crept up on us, in the moon light, dark Note: We will celebrate 19 years of marital mostly bliss in December! We met on Dec. 23rd and Married 3 years later.
