I REGRET

FROM MY ROOFTOP GARDEN, 19 NOVEMBER 2016, MY PICTURE, (c)

As my life's days are getting shorter with age

And darkness seems slowly to weave the night 

I regret the light so thoughtlessly wasted 

When  youth's sun had shined, endlessly, so bright!

I can't believe how fast the weeks fly by. I remember being in my teens being so anxious to get older. Crazy! I just want the days to slow down now. Great write!
