I Pray For My Daughters When I Die

I pray for my daughters when I die They will have to clean this place. They might rip it apart Bring in six dumpsters from space. Hire men to begin throwing. A ferocious disgrace. Not understanding at all What their parents were about. But we will be deceased, So there will be no need to pout.

Well I hope you get to pray for those daughters for many years. That way you can keep collecting fuel for the fire and writing about it for the rest of us.

Yup, as you get older you realize that most of your stuff, is your stuff and they don’t care for it! Life is such!

No but it should be very entertaining watching them from above, kicking, squealing, shoveling...wouldn't it be easier to have a sale?

We oldies accumulate some clutter, so the young-uns will have to care for all our treasures when we go, but I guess we mustl accept that most will end up in local thrift shops. Good poem Caren!

The way to have your keepsakes have meaning for your children is to tell them the story of your most beloved pieces. I tell my grandchildren these stories so they will appreciate some of my things and not just chuck them when I am gone. I went through my mother's things and kept many that I gave her. It is like she is still around and she may be. Great poetry for thought Caren. xxoo
