I Only Tell of Sunny Hours

I only tell of sunny hours…
It is the way to dwell on them,
Thus acquiring more light and love.

I only see the best of you….
Choosing the kindnesses of your heart.
Knowing you well, my friend

And if I do not know you yet,
I shine as brightly as I can, hoping
You will come over and be my friend.

I have learned at last
Enemies do not exist but in my mind.
Every person is a soul, and in there is kind.

I only reflect pretty rays…
Shining from a soul that is willing to pray
Missives straight to heaven, to the Lord above.

I have discovered …
This is the ultimate way
To make the most of a fabulous day.

I feel this way, Lily, so it is pretty easy to toss it out.

Thank you so much Andrew. I enter lots of contests, but never look at the results knowing everyone else will tell me. Ha!

Caren I like how you went much farther with your sundial’s “sunny disposition,” the way she looks for the best in all! Congratulations!

You have to get one; you haven't seen amazing until you've seen a fairy dancing on the gnomon of a sundial.

Thank you my friend. I like the idea of a sundial; I want my own now in my garden which is already overcrowded with faeries, wind spinners, and wind chimes.

I had to add some sunshine today. It was much warmer, but still no sun appeared. I made my own, however, in my art studio. A gloriously fun day!
