I Only Have My Voice
I only have my voice to spread truth and make a difference
Whether anyone listens or not, I must spread facts that I know
I must keep speaking of what I see, it may plant a seed somewhere
In this garden of a world where flowers bloom and people smile
Nature speaks as well, even when we may not understand the language
But, we often stop to listen and it often gives us pleasure
Now is our time to speak, not be silent; now is our time, to be brave
It is time to reach out to others, while caring for ourselves
Again, while using every inner gift we’ve been granted
When you see the sun rise, know you have another chance
When the sun sets, let it be with contentment for a day well lived
Hold every precious moment and hour like shining gold
Time is precious and never more important than it is now
For there are things you will experience like never before
Weave the moments together into a protective blanket
For you, precious loved ones, neighbors and others
In a life in which we all are living through the same storm
All the while each one of us has the same choice: Good vs. Evil
